Conflict doesn’t just destroy buildings—it disrupts dreams. In Sudan and South Sudan, thousands of children are out of school, not because they lack ambition, but because they lack pencils, uniforms, and safe classrooms.
CAFKASS believes education is a right, not a privilege. We provide school kits, support teachers, and create safe learning spaces—so children can reclaim their future, one lesson at a time.

- School supplies and fees cost £100–£150/year per child, excluding uniforms
- Many families earn less than £130/month, making education impossible
- Girls and displaced children are most likely to be excluded
- £15 provides a full school kit
- £100 sponsors a child’s education for one year
- £250 supports a community-led classroom
The Critical Aid Foundation of Khartoum and South Sudan is a humanitarian organization dedicated to delivering life-saving support to communities affected by conflict, displacement, and poverty. Operating across some of the most vulnerable regions in Sudan and South Sudan, the foundation provides emergency relief, medical aid, clean water, and shelter—while advocating for long-term recovery and resilience. With a focus on dignity, transparency, and local partnership, the foundation stands as a beacon of hope in times of crisis.
