Standing with the Vulnerable
Critical AID Foundation of Khartoum and South Sudan (CAFKASS) is on the front lines of crisis response and community renewal. We deliver urgent aid; medical care, food, water and shelter; to families facing unimaginable hardship, while building long-term solutions that restore dignity and hope. Whether it’s a child sleeping safely for the first time in weeks, or a parent finding meaningful work again, every life we touch is a step toward healing.

THREAT!
The outbreak of the Sudanese Civil War in April 2023 has devastated communities across Khartoum and South Sudan. By the end of 2023, more than 60,000 lives had been lost, and thousands of families were displaced—left without food, shelter, or medical care. Among the displaced are children, the elderly, and the most vulnerable members of society.
Emergency Aid: Food, Water and Clothing
“When survival is uncertain, your compassion becomes life-saving.” Millions in Sudan and South Sudan face hunger, thirst, and exposure daily. CAFKASS delivers food, water, clothing, and hygiene kits to restore dignity and hope. £25 feeds a family for a week.

Education: Empowering the Next Generatio
“Every child deserves a chance to learn, dream, and lead.” Conflict has stolen classrooms and futures. CAFKASS provides school kits, safe learning spaces, and teacher support to empower the next generation. £15 gives a child the tools to learn.

Health Care: Saving Lives with Dignity
No one should suffer because they can’t afford treatment.” In regions where clinics are scarce and medicine is costly, CAFKASS brings mobile care, emergency treatment, and essential supplies to those most in need. £30 covers a clinic visit and medication.

Housing: Shelter from Crisis
“Shelter is more than a roof—it’s safety, stability, and the chance to rebuild.” Thousands are displaced, living in tents or unsafe conditions. CAFKASS helps families restore shelter through emergency housing and community rebuilding. £500 rebuilds a family’s home.
